Drought Management Web Series

An upcoming AgriLife Extension program developed with funding from the Southern Risk Management Education Center will provide a comprehensive set of tools for managing risks before, during, and after a drought. This webinar series is a cooperative effort between the departments of Agricultural Economics, Animal Science, and Rangeland, Wildlife, and Fisheries Management.

 

Attendees will receive information on:

  • Drought risk management programs
  • Nutrition and management strategies for drought resilience
  • Drought’s impact on rangeland plant communities
  • Wildfire checklist and recovery
  • Economic management strategies to minimize drought’s impact

In addition, completion of the full program provides three TDA Pesticide Applicator CEU’s (Two general, One IPM).

 

The series will be from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm April 13, 15, 20, 22. The cost to attend the webinar series will be $50.00/person.
